The Mac.Robertson Girls' High School

Architecture Caisson was commissioned to work on the celebrated MacRoberston Girls High School Campus – designed by Seabrook & Fildes and built in 1934. The school was the first modernist school constructed in Victoria and possibly Australia and was hailed by Robin Boyd as an “Evolution of modern architecture in Australia.” Our works involved upgrading different areas to improve overall amenity for the students and restore aspects of the lovely heritage building.
